Stufffff!

After my morning practice, I decided that it was time for me to get off my butt and go get some applications for a job. I have very little money, and I need more of it. My little journey took a little over an hour, because, unlike a lazy person, I walked (also cause I have no license(more on this later)). I first walked to the bank, to not only check my account, but get some cash out. After that, I went to Home Depot, and was told that you apply online (odd, but I should have expected something like this, considering everything is online now). I then walked to Olympia Sports, walked in got an application and left. Here is where it gets interesting, but I'm gonna start a new paragraph for it, don't wanna hurt anyone's eyes with a wall of text :).

So I then walked by a store called Gamerz Haven (I know, ridiculous name). I walked in, and thought to myself "What a shitty store(Excuse the language, this is necessary)", but, I decided to ask anyway. The man working, I am going to assume is the owner...I asked if I could get an application, and got (In a little whispering voice) "Oh, we aren't hiring", I said "okay" and left. After 5 min of thinking and walking to the Family Video Store, it hit me. He probably isn't hiring anyone because his disgusting poor excuse for a business doesn't make enough money to hire anyone. Let me remind you, that this man wasn't doing anything when I got there. Oh boy was I pissed...A recent graduate of kindergarten could start a better business.

I continued to Family Video to get my last application of the day. This was easy and smooth. I just filled out my Home Depot application, and am waiting to hear on that. I would love a job in the landscape department, or just restocking shelves. Anything to make money at this point. You are probably saying, "Adam, who the hell cares what you did today." And you wanna no what? I care what I did today, and thought I would share, so if you don't like what I post about then stop reading. Sometimes it will be interesting posts and sometimes just plain boring ones. But wait there's more...

Just kidding, I don't really have much more to say (thank god right?). Ummm, classes start soon, which means, stress, stress, stress...Not looking forward to that, but I wanna start out on a good foot, and kick this semester's ass. I never posted my New Years Resolution, but getting a 3.0 this semester was one of them (Along with my license). STOP READING HERE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ ABOUT ME RANTING ABOUT A LICENSE!

So a recent conversation about licenses and why I don't have one, sparked the other night...And I just wanna clarify, why I think the way I do, and why I DON'T need one right now.

Let's start off by saying, What do I need my license for? I am a college student, what the hell do I do off campus, that can't be walked too? Also, am I spending money on gas? NO I AM NOT. Just because "you" couldn't live without "your" license and "you" couldn't imagine not having it, does not mean that is how I look at it. Because "you" have had it for so long, "you" have become dependent on having one, where as myself has found ways around having one. I never ask for a ride, it is always asked upon me if I want one. I don't take advantage of people for rides, if it is offered I will accept it.

This is something that has pissed me off recently. I don't wanna hear about dumb scenarios that don't apply to me. I walked all the way to Community Bank from campus today, which is like a 30 min walk, and I did not bitch once, because I don't mind walking. So get off my ass about the damn license, I will get it when I want to...Obviously it isn't a big to me, nor should it be to you!
